The person who can help you is already in your network.
Intro reads the relationships you have already built — who you talk to, how often, and about what — and answers the question you actually have: who do I know who can help me with this?
What it does
Most people have thousands of contacts and no way to search them by usefulness. Intro builds a strength-scored map of your network from the communication you have already had, enriches it with public professional information, and lets you ask for what you need in plain language.
- Fundraising. Which investors do I have a real path to, and who makes the introduction?
- Sales and BD. Who do I know at the companies I am trying to reach?
- Hiring and job hunting. Who in my network is hiring for this, or could refer me?
- Warm introductions. Who is the strongest mutual connection to a person I want to meet?
Why Intro asks to connect your Google account
A relationship map is only as good as the evidence behind it. Intro asks for read-only access to two Google services, and uses each for one purpose:
- Gmail — read-only, message headers only
- Intro reads who a message was between, when it was sent, and its subject line, to work out who you actually deal with and how strong each relationship is. Message bodies are not read and not stored. Intro requests only the headers it needs, and does not ask for permission to send email on your behalf.
- Google Calendar — read-only
- Meetings are the strongest evidence of a real relationship. Intro reads event titles, times and participants so that time spent together counts toward relationship strength.
Access is read-only and revocable. You can disconnect inside Intro, or remove Intro entirely from your Google account permissions, at any time. Connecting Google is optional — Intro also works from contact and calendar files you upload yourself.
How your data is handled
Your contacts, message metadata and everything derived from them belong to your account alone and are never exposed to another customer. Data is hosted on a dedicated server in the European Union. You can export or delete your data at any time.
Intro’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
